The area is cleaned with anti-septic. The doctor the marks the area to be injected. The doctor will inject using a very fine needle. Then pressure with gauze will be applied.

This is a relatively painfree procedure. Additionally, the fillers all contain lidocaine (anaesthetic) for your comfort. Ice is always used to decrease pain and to reduce the risk of bruising. A numbing cream may be applied to the area prior to the treatment (30 minutes prior is ideal) if required.

The dose required for dermal filler of the temples is variable. Typically 1-2 mls of filler is required to revolumise both temples. This assessed and discussed with you at the initial consultation.
